Réka Gyevnár

Réka Gyevnár is a contemporary dancer and educator based in Budapest, currently performing with the Central Europe Dance Theatre (CEDT). She trained at the Hungarian Dance University, earning her BA in Dance and Rehearsal Leadership (Commercial Dance Division, 2019) before pursuing her MA in Dance Pedagogy (Modern Dance).

Réka’s background spans classical ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, and urban styles. As a member of the CEDT, she has worked with many of Hungary’s leading choreographers as well as internationally recognized artists such as Anton Lachky, Maciej Kuźmiński and Gustavo Ramírez Sansano.
In 2024, she presented her first full-length piece within the framework of the Young Choreographers' Forum; since then, she has remained active as a creator across various projects. Her solo performances have also been showcased internationally, including in Seoul at the Monotanz Festival.

In 2025, Réka became a certified Dynamic Phrasing Teacher in Pillar I – The Loop and Pillar IV – Floor Work. Her teaching explores fluidity, rhythm, and embodied awareness, blending technical precision with expressive freedom.
